MTAC 2011 Sierra Branch Honors Recital

11 students from FPA received Branch Honors for their exceptional scores and ratings during their Certificate of Merit evaluations!  Congratulations!

Namkha N. performing his Steamboat Rag by Martha Mier at the 2009 West Coast Ragtime Competition

Namkha N. tied for first place in the Junior Division winning $50 and an invitation to perform in a masterclass with master ragtime teacher Frederick Hodges at the 2009 West Coast Ragtime Festival in Sacramento.  Congratulations!

Clarence L. (first row far right) participated in the Festival Recital at the MTAC 2009 State Convention in Santa Clara.  Clarence received high marks during his CM evaluation.  Way to go!

Ariel S. and Daniella K. both participated in one of our Spring 2010 Recitals at Light of the Hills Lutheran Church in Cameron Park.  They both played beautifully!

Alex L. and Matthew L. both participated in the Theme Recital at the MTAC 2009 State Convention in Santa Clara.  Both received high marks during their CM evaluation.  The 2009 theme was Irregular Meters.  Awesome job!

Kaitlin B. shares the stage with her little sister after performing at the Spring 2010 Recital held at Sherman Clay Piano in Roseville.  Kaitlin received her Certificate of Merit for successfully completing the state evaluation that year through the MTAC.  What an accomplishment!

Sai D. and Jeanette are playing a festive duet at one of our many Christmas Recitals at  Borders Bookstore in Folsom!  What a great way to get in the holiday spirit and share your music with the community.  Good job, Sai!

A great ending to one of our Spring 2010 Recitals held at Sherman Clay Piano in Roseville!
