What Is Piano Blast?
Piano Blast is a fun and structured summer piano program designed to introduce kids and teens to the fundamentals of music in an engaging group setting.
Students build real skills, grow confidence, and perform in a mini-concert on the final day.
What Students Will Gain

- Rhythm and coordination skills
- Understanding of the keyboard
- Early music reading skills
- Confidence using both hands
- Completion of two structured curriculum units
- Preparation for a final mini-concert performance
Age-Appropriate Instruction
Ages 6–10:
Movement and coloring activities, rhythm basics, and memory-based songs.
Ages 11–16:
Introduction to music reading, the Grand Staff, intervals, and pedal technique.
Celebrating Their Progress
A Mini-Concert Celebration
During the final 15 minutes of the last class, students will perform for family and friends — celebrating their progress and confidence at the piano.
PROGRAM DETAILS
- One week intensive (Monday–Friday)
- 60-minute classes each day
- equivalent to six weeks
- Small group setting (maximum 5 students)
- Perfect for beginners — no prior experience required
- No piano at home required for participation
- Curriculum books required (separate fee)
